Our Community Grants program helps non-profits and charities by offering skilled labour for projects like marketing, events, and digital support—all at no cost. We’re here to lend a hand and make sure your project has what it needs to succeed.

Our goal is simple: to back our communities by providing the support that charities and non-profits need to get ahead. We know that sometimes the biggest hurdle is having the right skills or time to make things happen, so that’s where we come in. Through Community Grants, we aim to remove those barriers, helping you grow your impact and support your community.

This grant offers skilled help with a variety of project and marketing needs. Whether you need to launch a campaign, create digital assets, or run a special initiative, we provide the expertise to get it done. From social media management to creating marketing materials or even setting up an online presence, we’ll support you in delivering your project with maximum impact.
Covers assistance with:
- Designing Marketing Materials (i.e. Posters, Graphics, Posts)
- Social Media Support (i.e. Content and/or Strategy)
- Creating branded assets (i.e. logos, images, or videos)
- Websites (i.e. Build or Update a Website)
- Advertising Management (i.e. Manage or Create Ad Campaigns)
- Email Newsletters (i.e. Create New eNews, or Train you to)
- Providing Marketing Training or Support
Eligibility:
Registered non-profits and charities looking to promote a specific project, event, or campaign that benefits their community.
Applicants must be registered with either Charities Services (NZ) or the Australian Charities & Not-for-profits Commission (AU).

Application Info:
You can apply for up to $3,500 + GST in support per project. This grant can be applied to one project or initiative per round. This grant can only be used for the project outlined on your application, and is non-tranferrable.
Strategy & Operation
This grant is for organisations looking to improve their internal processes, plan an upcoming project, or set a clear direction for their future efforts. Whether you need help planning an event, creating a strategic roadmap, or developing an operations plan, we provide tailored support to strengthen your capacity to deliver on your mission.
Covers assistance with:
- Event planning and coordination, from logistics to budgeting
- Developing an annual strategy or operational plan
- Creating workflows to improve efficiency or project management
- Support with setting up systems for volunteer coordination or donor management
- Strategic consultations to refine the direction of your programs or services
Eligibility:
Registered non-profits and charities needing help with planning, logistics, or operational improvements for a specific project or organisation-wide initiative.
Applicants must be registered with either Charities Services (NZ) or the Australian Charities & Not-for-profits Commission (AU).
